Celebrate YOU – Day 26

I am not perfect. ~ I am not perfect. I make mistakes. It has taken me many years to let go of perfect, to let go of judging myself for falling short of perfect, to accept that I am human and to make mistakes is human. Letting go of perfect does not mean giving up on my goals. It does not mean giving up on striving to be my best self. Letting go of perfect reminds me to extend grace to myself when I fall short. No, I am not perfect and that’s okay.

Vince Lombardi said, “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence”.

Brown Eyes ~ People with brown eyes are said to be very independent, self-confident and determined. They are trustworthy, offer a sense of security and stability to others. Celebrate YOU – Day 24

Intuition ~ Unexplained feelings that something is true even when you have no evidence or proof of it. Her intuition was telling her that… Intuition is sometimes referred to as a gut feeling. You know, it is that feeling you get deep down inside. It is usually strongest when there is a decision to make. I have learned to trust my intuition and it turns out to be correct more times than not.

Celebrate YOU – Day 23

Caring ~ Caring is defined as someone or something that shows kindness and concern for others. A person who does kind things for others, who is sensitive to others’ feelings. My Grandma Ellen was a very caring person consistently putting others needs above her own. While I learned many things from her, I am fortunate that caring for others is one of them.
